It is inspired by true life encounters between 19th century Scottish sailors and the Inuit communities of the Arctic. This family show is for anyone aged over four years. Angel Heart use beautifully crafted puppets to tell magical stories and myths. This performance includes the use of shadow puppetry, live music and a specially commissioned soundtrack. The story is about Malina, an excitable young Inuit girl who lives with her Grandpa. Into her frozen world comes a dream, and in that dream comes a stranger, whose ship is crushed in the ice. When Malina discovers that her dream has become real she knows only she can save the strager’s life ... with just a little help from Grandpa and his magic drum.
